Countdown To Thanksgiving!



I love Thanksgiving, and this year it will be especially awesome since we'll be sharing it with not one, but two cute little nephews! My sister and her boys, ages 3 1/2 and 2 months, will be here for most of the week.

On top of that, we'll be a family of four, all under one roof. That's something to truly be Thankful for!

Like everyone else, I also love Thanksgiving because of the big meal with family. This isn't a time to mess with the menu. It's time to do exactly what you've done in the past since it's a once-a-year meal that everyone looks forward to. So, the green bean casserole will be there, thanks to my Aunt Lynn, along with turkey, dressing and gravy from Hubs and me, cranberry sauce and marinated cheese from my sister, pies, rolls and two types of potatoes (sweet and mashed) from my mom.

IMPORTANT: Go ahead and buy your turkey before the weekend if you're buying frozen. It takes almost a week for  a turkey to defrost in the fridge and you don't want to be in a panic Thanksgiving morning!
